I'm a freelance communications consultant and writer based in San Francisco. My focus is mostly on marketing and PR writing, and I regularly create content for company websites, blogs and newsletters. I work with clients large and small, from Fortune 500 companies to tech startups to other freelancers launching their own professional websites.

On top of my own strong and growing client base, I often subcontract to graphic designers or marketing agencies. Before launching my freelance business, I worked for three years at Fleishman-Hillard, a global communications agency. At FH, I specialized in public affairs, developing and managing communication plans for industry-leading companies, nonprofits and government agencies.

Today, I also subcontract to FH on a variety of regular writing projects. This allows me divide my time between Fleishman-Hillard’s downtown office, my home office and the many cafes in my Alamo Square neighborhood. Most afternoons you can find me finishing an article at Matching Half or Bean Bag Cafe.

San Francisco is an ideal home for a freelance writer, and I love to find new cafes to work in, and explore new music venues, restaurants and running routes through the city. Living in California should also be a celebration of the outdoors, so I go hiking, biking or camping whenever I can.

While I’m originally from California, I’m new to SF, and lived in Washington, DC for nine years. There, I graduated from Georgetown University, where I studied international politics and economics, and began my career at a local nonprofit.
